Owner, Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer
As owner of Enovate Learning LLC, Rema wears many hats: instructional designer, eLearning developer, consultant, project manager and graphic designer. Over the past eight years, she has created interactive, learning experiences for organizations in the airline, natural gas, automotive, professional association and other industries.
Key Strengths
Her success as an instructional designer and eLearning developer is due, in part to, to five strengths (according to Clifton Strengths Assessment): intellection (bringing depth and understanding to a project), input (bringing tangible tools to facilitate growth and performance), strategic (seeing alternate solutions to potential obstables), learner (committing to continous improvement) and restorative (bringing courage and creativity to challenging situations).

Enovate Learning’s Story
The seed for Enovate Learning LLC was planted in 2015 while Rema Merrick was enrolled in Bloomsburg University of Pennsylania’s MSIT (master of science in Instructional Technology) program. During the final course in the program, which was taught by gamification expert Dr. Karl Kapp, she and several classmates formed a fictitious eLearning company to respond to a fictious request for proposal. The group competed against several other teams in the class to secure the proposal. The group presented their proposal to a large forum of eLearning industry professionals. They did not win the proposal but the process was exciting; and, she learned that you can do great things with great people.
After working as an instructional designer and eLearning developer at American Airlines and contracting for several years, Rema finally took the entrepreneural plunge to start Enovate Learning LLC in June, 2019. She wanted to bring that same sense of excitement (that was created during the graduate project) to eLearning development while delivering the best learner outcomes.
