Create a fun, interactive module to introduce new hires to the Company’s leadership team. The training must be flexible, so that it cab be dropped into existing new hire trainings in all departments.
Developed an eight-minute, microlearning module. Created a fun, customized, green-blue, soccer themed template.
Methodology: Due to the short, casual nature of this module, we used a modified vesion of Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction, including one clear, measureable objective based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. Applied seven of the nine events, which presented the new hires with practice opportunities and feedback questions.
Interactivity: The module includes intro and outro background music, text-to-speech narration of five characters and a five question, data entry assessment.
Tools: We developed the module using Storyline 360. For the narration, we used the text-to-speech feature in Storyline to save on voice-over narration costs. The background music is a royalty free piece form BenSound.com. We used images from pixabay.com and Adobe Stock images.
