Create a 10-slide, eLearning course template to present data security content to corporate audience. Template includes a title slide, course objectives slide, single-column content slide, three-column content slide, accordian interation slide, grid content slide, drag-and-drop interaction slide, multiple-choice, question slide and a conclusion slide.
Design Approach: Designed template using color theory and CRAP (contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity) design principle. Maximized template contrast by using a complementary, blue-yellow theme. Blue conveys a professional, corporate style, which is appropriate for the audience.
Development Process: Development process followed a simple, hybrid form of the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) model. 1) Design: Created a simple, design document, which outlined the types of interactions required for the template. 2) Development: Developed the template in Articulate Storyline 360. Tested template for quality assurance using Articulate Review 360. 3) Implementation: Members of the Articulate eLearning community accessed the template via a link on Articulate’s community website to AWS Cloud Storage. 4) Evaluation: Members provide feedback regarding the utility and creativity of the template.
Multimedia Elements: Template allows developers to add text, images and videos. Stock images were provided by Articulate 360 and Adobe Stock Photo libraries.
Interactions: Template includes an accordian interation, drag-and-drop interaction and multiple-choice, question interaction.
